Verification:

npm run lint is clean.
npm test: 1543 tests, 1542 pass, 1 skipped. "an unexpected successor preparation failure retains its checkpoint…" fails now and then under load. It waits only 2 s for a restarted broker, and it passed on the re-run and in isolation.
npm run test:ego-monitor: 148/148.
cargo fmt --check and cargo test --locked pass.
cargo package --list: 88 files. cargo publish --dry-run --locked succeeds.

Release Ego Chat 0.2.43: the version bump, runtime generation 2026-09-26.1 and the TECH.md release paragraph for #83. When eaSpot, the macOS menu bar quota display, is installed, #83 shows the Pro usage meter in it as "188 of 200 messages left".
